Lars: We drove yesterday from Wellington to Palmerston North, and stayed in a small motel. The room was nice and cheap, but smelled of mold. Internet worked from 17 to 22.
Today we drove drove to Rotorua, via some pretty places. These parts in New Zealand are interesting to drive: the road is twisted in three dimensions, and there's a lot of road works and stuff to further make it non-monotonous. I did most of the driving today, but I'm told the scenery is quite breathtakingly beautiful.

We booked a hotel room next to a geysir. Above is the view from our room. There is a distinct smell of sulphur, but who cares, when there's a geysir just outside? An bubbling mud.

The scenery looks even prettier in the evening.
I will need to be careful, lest I fall in love with this country.
